Ringette Ontario has awarded Paris Ringette a U19A team, Cambridge Ringette was awarded a U16A team subject to fulfillment of conditions (minimum player and goalie requirements).  

U19A - Paris Ringette Association

The U19A team is being hosted and managed by the Paris Ringette Association. Information and instructions on tryout registration is now available on the Paris Ringette Association A Tryout schedule and registration information page. 

U16A - Cambridge Ringette Association

Registration is now open on the CRA RAMP Portal for the U16A Tryout sessions (date/time/location/info are in the chart below). 

Once you are in the RAMP portal, click on the "Participant Registration" button and then Select the "2026-27 U16A Tryouts" option and proceed to fill out the requested selections. 

The Price is $50 for the first two tryout sessions and the remaining two sessions are by invitation only, and will be an additional $50. There is no charge for goalies, however you must still register.

* For U16A tryout sessions, payment is due at the time of registration by e-transfer or credit card. E-transfers can be made to treasurer@cambridgeringette.ca (Password: Turbos). No refunds will be issued.

**Registering in RAMP ensures continued insurance coverage for players who played Ringette in Ontario in the last season (2025-26). However, if the player did not play Ringette in the last season in Ontario (ie other sport or other province) please email vicepresident@cambridgeringette.ca.

Players who have not registered and paid for the appropriate package(s) in RAMP will NOT be permitted to step on the ice .

Releases

No player needs a release to try out for any team. However, a release will be required in order to accept a spot on a team outside of one's home association, if the player is offered one. CRA home association players will not be released to play outside the association except in the following circumstances:

1. the player is offered a spot on a level of team that CRA is not offering (i.e. U19A, U14AA, U16AA, U19AA)
2. the player is offered a spot on a team that CRA is offering, but CRA will not be offering the player a spot (i.e., a player is "cut")

Tryouts can be a stressful time for players, coaches, and volunteers. Please be kind and respectful when communicating either in person or via email. Because associations have tryouts at different times, there may be some waiting required for releases. 

No player will be released outside the association for a team CRA offers unless that player has also attended CRA tryouts.
